Kids’ Quilt Camp with Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS)

AM Class 8 am - 12:30 pm - OR - PM Class: 1 pm - 5:30 pm

TQM has once again, partnered with ARTS to offer fun and educational Summer Camps!

KIDS QUILT CAMP - Learn everything about choosing fabric, piecing, and sewing a quilt. With two class times to choose from...In this fun and informative camp, kids will make a quilt in ONE week! All supplies included.

ARTS is committed to providing art experiences and art education to the children of rural Texas throughout the school year. Children's need for art and art education doesn't stop for the summer months. The fun continues all summer with ARTS’ Summer Camps!

ARTS’ Summer Camps provide a creative space for young artists to learn and play. Each camp offers a fun and interactive curriculum where students can learn many different art forms, such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, quilting, felting, movie making, performing arts, music, and much more.

Summer Camp is held throughout June and July, except for the week of July 4th. This year, camps will be held in Fayetteville, La Grange, Schulenburg, Columbus, and Weimar. Camps are offered to children grades 1st through 12th, with classes designed for each age group: lower elementary, upper elementary, and high school. This weeklong day camp will be held Monday through Friday from AM Class 8 am - 12:30 pm     -OR-      PM Class: 1 pm - 5:30 pm, are fee based at $100 per camp.

KIDS NEEDLE FELTING CAMP - Kids will learn basic tips & tricks to this fun and popular form of fiber art. They will work on a main project as a class and then can make other items they feel inspired to create. Supplies included.
