Antique Textiles

Within the Pearce Memorial Library and Material Culture Study Center, is the Koval Antique Textile Collection.  This incredible assemblage of history collection welcomes the study of textile samples from 1775-1875.

Thanks to Mary & Joe Koval, we currently have 45 French and British textile pieces dated between 1700-1875.  Including toile de Jouy, block prints, chinoiserie and chintz fabrics and MORE.  These pieces rest in display cases, have been documented and dated and offer comments on the provenance, technique of printing, design, and artist. The entire collection is available for public viewing.
